I had the honor of getting to hang a show at The Good for the last Thursday in January. I had only been in their group shows in the past and had 2 weeks to make as much new art as I could. Here is some new stuff after my long hiatus.
I left town for 6 weeks, to find inspiration and see the people I love and miss. Here's some pictures. I didn't have a camera, so was lucky for the friends that i visited that caught these.
I had the chance to make a few paintings for this project this month as well as help and witness some amazing music, installations and paintings by many of my friends in the art and music community! Find out more about this project HERE Read what the mercury had to say HERE
For our first month collectively curating Denada Gallery, Matt Schlosky, Leah Littleleaf, Travis Dodson, Hunter Armstrong, Kerosene Rose, Heidi Elise Wirz, and I collaborated on a group GROW show. We invited several of our friends to also hang art in the show and the opening had a great turnout! Here are some pictures of the show.
Organizing a group art show with Lacey Ward at the Queen of Hearts! It will be the first show at this infamous Portland FOPO bar with all artists working under the theme queen!
December 14th was a one night only show at OMCC where 100 artists had 20 days to paint 20 8x8 panels that were all sold for $30 with $10 going to KBOO and the Oregon Food Bank. Alot of fun to work on collaborations with friends, make news stencils, free hand paint, and work with gel medium!
